Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021 as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she is in charge of covering all things from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Being the daughter and the mother of two NASA astronauts Kristin has a background in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Trump and Biden Administration's space policies as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. As she covered the two impeachment proceedings against the president as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign as well as both administrations' efforts to curb the coronavirus epidemic Kristin also covered a variety of other subjects.
